The theme is nature, the medium is clay.

For over 50 years, working in clay has been my profession and my passion. The tradition of pottery can be traced throughout history and gives me a connection to the cultures of the world.

My work reflects a Japonesque style showing an emphasis on the beauty of nature and the attention to form. Each of my pieces is created with the philosophy championed by William Morris: “Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.”
